(Creston) Creston Police arrested six people and investigated one Theft over the weekend.
Police arrested three people at 806 Laurel Street on Saturday in Creston for 5th-Degree Theft. Police arrested 25-year old River Pecha-Nichols of Atlantic, 42-year old Jennifer Schaecher, of Greenfield, and 41-year old Cassandra Davis of Thayer. Officers cited all three and released them from the scene.
Police also arrested 28-year old Garrett Woodhull of Creston at his residence on Saturday, for Driving While Suspended. Woodhull faces additional charges of Failure to Maintain Control, Driving on the wrong side of a two-lane Highway and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. Woodhull remains in jail on a $300.00 bond.
In another case; Police arrested 52-year old Jeffrey Lusk on a Union County Warrant for the charge of Failure to Appear on the original charge of 2nd Degree Criminal Mischief. He is held on a $2,000 bond.
Police also arrested 49-year old Michael Williams on Union County Warrant for a Probation Violation on an original charge of Domestic Abuse Impeding Blood/airflow. Williams remains in jail, awaiting a bond hearing.
M & M Motors reported sometime during the overnight hours of June 5 and June 6; someone slashed all four tires on a vehicle sitting on their lot. The estimated loss is $2,200.
