(Adair) KSOM’s Classic Replay on Friday evening is a 2013 regular season football game between Adair-Casey and Murray. The Bombers showcased their high-powered offense with an 85-54 statement win.
Traeton Jensen was the quarterback and had a career night. He remembers the game having a lot of build up. “They had beaten us in the playoffs a couple of years in a row. I think that was one of the circled games on our schedule coming into our senior year. We know it was going to be a big one.”
Jensen connected on 10/13 throws for 393 yards and six scores. He also rushed for a touchdown as the offense put up 548 yards. “I think they knew, well the whole state knew to stop Clayton Plowman you’d have to stack the box. We changed up the game plan from what we were used to and went in there and threw the ball around.
Jensen recalls Clayton Plowman returning the 2nd half kickoff for a touchdown as being a turning point in the game. It ignited what was a huge crowd.
Friday’s replay begins at 6:00 p.m.
