(Johnston) Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds says so far she is symptom-free from COVID-19 as she remains in a “modified quarantine.”
The Governor said Friday, that she continues to monitor her health status daily.
The Governor is following a modified quarantine plan after her trip to Washington D.C. a little over one week ago to discuss Iowa’s response to COVID-19. During this time, Reynolds learned a member of the Vice-President’s staff tested positive for COVID-19. Officials notified Reynolds last weekend that the individual was present during her visit to the White House. However, the Governor had no direct contact with her.
The Governor will stay home if she develops symptoms. Currently, many of the Governor’s team is working from home during this time, especially those at a higher health risk.
