(Des Moines) The latest data for the southwest Iowa counties in RMCC Region 4 shows one additional case each in Crawford, Audubon, Shelby, and Page counties, and four additional cases in Pottawattamie County. This brings the total to 246 positive tests for COVID-19 in Region 4. There are five patients hospitalized, one patient admitted in the past 24 hours, and three patients in ICU. There are no patients in Region 4 on ventilators.
As of Sunday, statewide, another 13 people with COVID-19 have died, bringing the total to 265. The IDPH also reported an additional 287 people tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total to 11,959 positive tests. The Iowa Department of Public Health reported 413 patients hospitalized with COVID-19, an increase of 11 from Saturday’s report. Four fewer patients are in ICU for a total of 157, and 46 individuals were hospitalized during the past 24 hour reporting period.
