(Council Bluffs)The Council Bluffs Fire Department extricated an Omaha man from a vehicle found in a culvert in the area of the Indian Creek in Council Bluffs.
Police say a passing Union Pacific train crew spotted the vehicle in the culvert. Authorities say a red Ford Explorer crashed through the metal guard rail and into the concrete barrier. The Explorer dropped approximately 12 feet in the culvert landing on its wheels in approximately one-to-two feet of water.
The driver of the vehicle identified as 74-year old Keith Cunningham, missing from Omaha, may have been suffering from a medical condition.
