(Council Bluffs) Pottawattamie County Public Health today (April 15) reported four new positive COVID-19 cases. The total number of COVID-19 cases for Pottawattamie County is now 18, 11 of which have recovered.
The four new cases involved three men and one woman between 41 and 80 years old. All four individuals reside in Council Bluffs and all four have pre-existing conditions. None of the new cases had contact with an existing COVID-19 case. Testing occurred between April 12 and 14. Two of these individuals are hospitalized and two are self-isolating at home.
Pottawattamie County Public Health is conducting a contact tracing investigation and is in touch with the Iowa Department of Public Health.
