(Des Moines) The Crawford and Pottawattamie County Public Health Departments each reported on Sunday, one additional case of positive COVID-19. The information is not included in the latest results from the Iowa Department of Public Health released on Sunday.
Pottawattamie County Health Officials say the infected individual is a female between the ages of 18-40 years old with no pre-existing medical conditions, no travel, and no contact with an existing case. Pottawattamie County Public Health is in contact with the Iowa Department of Public Health and believes this case to be a result of community spread.
The positive test in Crawford County is that of an adult between the ages of 41-60 years old.
