(Atlantic) The Cass County Board of Supervisors gave their approval for a grant application to help support the County’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The grant was presented by Brigham Hoegh, Cass County Wellness Coordinator and Cass County Food Policy Council Member. The funds, if granted, are estimated to be $173, 160.
The County will compose a letter of support.
The Supervisors also heard from new County Engineer Trent Wolken who said things are going as good as possible considering the circumstances.
Wolken said they also got contract pipe delivered last week and they will be working on those next.
In other activity, the Supervisors approved a resolution to appoint Tracey Bell to serve as Commissioner to the Southern Iowa Regional Housing Authority for a three year term beginning April 9th and approved the appointment of Tracey Lett, of Anita, to the Cass County Food Policy Council.
