(Wiota) One person was seriously injured when two ATVs collided near Wiota.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at around 4:45 p.m. on Golden Road, 1/8 of a mile north of White Pole Road.
Authorities say two ATVs traveling northbound collided, sending both vehicles into the east ditch. Two juveniles, one male and one female, were thrown from one of the ATV’s.
Medivac ambulance transported the female to the Cass County Memorial Hospital and later transported to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
The accident remains under investigation.
