(Creston) The Creston Police Department is investigating a car break-in.
Kayla Harris, of 214 Myrtle Street, told police during the overnight hours between March 29 and March 30, someone broke into a car and stole a purse carrying cash and gift cards. The bag was located, but the contents were not recovered. The loss is estimated at $105.00.
In another incident; Police arrested 34-year old Ashlee Willets of Creston on Monday at the Law Enforcement Center on a charge of Violation of a Protective Order. Authorities released her from the Union County Jail on a Promise to Appear.
