(Red Oak) A Montgomery County woman faces charges following a single-vehicle crash in Red Oak.
According to Red Oak Police, the accident happened at 2:23 on Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of N. Eastern Avenue and E. Corning Street.
Police say 49-year old Kai Dione Swanson, of Red Oak, was driving a 2011 Ford Explorer, southbound on N. Eastern Avenue. Swanson lost control at the intersection causing the Explorer to leave the roadway and crash head-on into a tree. Medical personnel treated Swanson for a minor injury at the scene.
Authorities arrested Swanson for OWI. Officers transported Swanson to the Montgomery County Jail. Swanson was held on a $1,000 bond at the time of this report.
