(Atlantic) Cass County Health System’s Incident Command team has issued a clarification regarding current COVID-19 test results. To date, CCHS has tested more than 25 individuals. All test results they have received so far have been negative. There are still pending test results and those patients will be personally notified when the results are received, whether positive or negative.
Meanwhile, Atlantic Mayor Dave Jones thanks the citizens of Atlantic for doing their part in keeping Cass County clean of COVID-19 cases up to this point.
“Every time you pass a sink, wash your hands and keep your six foot distance. The map of Iowa box is starting to fill in with the virus in different counts. Will we ever have it in Cass County? I hope not, but you can’t say for sure. Let’s make sure we do what we can to keep it out of here,” said Jones.
