(Clarinda) Clarinda Police Chief Keith Brothers said three male students from Clarinda Academy have absconded from campus. A search is underway.
All are 5’9-5’11. One is a Caucasian male with blue jeans and a white/black jacket. Two are African American males, one in camo, the other with white pants and a white hoodie.
On Monday, two other students absconded and are still at large. It is believed they are out of the area. Two vehicles were stolen from Clarinda; a Chevrolet S10 pickup and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. It is believed those vehicle were stolen by the students. Law enforcement in Iowa and surrounding states have been alerted to the missing students & the stolen vehicles.
