(Exira) COVID-19 has been a hot topic and the Exira-EHK School District is no exception.
Middle School and High School Principal Mary Bleth-Harris says the district has been in close contact with the public health department and is following CDC guidelines. School administration and the nurse have been communicating about proper protocols.
“How do we keep our buildings clean, what kinds of things do we need to do in our classrooms, what should we talk with students about, good hand washing and those kinds of things.”
A letter from Superintendent Trevor Miller was issued Monday to parents through the school’s social media pages. It states, “as of right now, we are staying put, holding activities and events, and continuing to do business as-is.”
