(Creston) Four people were arrested after several agencies executed a search warrant in Creston Friday.
Officers of the Creston Police Department along with Deputies and agents from the Union County Sheriff’s Office, Ringgold County Sheriff’s Office, Adams County Sheriff’s Office, Adair County Sheriff’s Office, Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, Afton Police Department, and the Department of Narcotics Enforcement served a search warrant at 612 West Mills in Creston. The warrant was for stolen property taken in recent thefts in Creston and the surrounding area.
During the search warrant, five guns were recovered along with drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine. A large amount of property was seized along with one stolen vehicle. The police department will notify victims of recent thefts to come to the Law Enforcement Center to identify any possible missing property. This will be done after the seized evidence has been logged and tagged.
Adam Cross was arrested for two counts of Theft 5th, Criminal Mischief 5th, Possession of Burglary Tools, Burglary 3rd Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd/Subsequent, Dominion or Control of a Firearm by a Felon, Attempted Burglary 3rd Degree, and Gathering Where Controlled Substances Used. Warrants served: Union County warrant for Interference with Official Acts and Adams County warrant for Violation of Probation.
Jennifer Beard was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Offense, Theft 2nd Degree and Gathering Where Controlled Substances Used. Warrants served: Union County warrant for Violation of No Contact Order and a warrant has been requested out of Union County for Theft 5th.
Patrick Farlow was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd, Gathering Where Controlled Substances Used, and Burglary 3rd Degree. Warrants served: Union County warrants for Probation Violation for the original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Probation Violation for the original charge of Carrying Weapons, and Controlled Substance Violation.
Natalie Eslinger was served a warrant from Polk County for Probation Violation for the original charge of Operating Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent.
Additional charges may still be filed pending further investigation.
