(Creston) The Creston Police Department arrested four people, received one report of theft, and one attempted theft over the weekend.
*Police arrested 31-year-old Scott Johnson of Essex on Friday, for Driving While Suspended and Carrying Weapons, (a Knife over five inches). He was released from the Union County Jail on a $1,300.00 bond.
*Police arrested 19-year old Seph Fox, of Creston on Friday at the Law Enforcement Center on a charge of 4th Degree Theft. He was released from the Union County Jail on a $1,000.00 bond.
*Police arrested 22-year old Kendra Davis, of Creston on Saturday for 5th Degree Criminal Mischief. He was cited and released from the scene on a promise to appear in court.
*Police arrested 38-year old David Kopp, of Creston early Sunday morning for Public Intoxication. He was released from the Union County Jail on a $300.00 bond.
In addition to the arrests, the Fareway Food Store in Creston reported an unknown male stole a bottle of liquor.
Police also received a report from Scott Pendegraft, that sometime between 3:50 a.m. and 7:10 a.m., on Friday, it appeared someone unsuccessfully attempted to steal his 1998 GMC Yukon parked in the alley behind his residence. The damage to the ignition system was estimated at $250.00.
