The four sport athlete for the Wheelers has been an important part of a lot of successful Audubon teams. He’s our featured senior for the week beginning February 17th.
Olsen has consistently upped his scoring output throughout the season for an Audubon squad that heads into postseason play with an 8-13 record. On the season he averages 8.7 points per game while leading the Wheelers in free-throws made and steals. He’s second on the team in scoring, 3-pointers made, rebounds, and assists.
Olsen is a multi-year starter in baseball where he hit a team best .329 last summer. His junior season on the diamond included 28 hits and 16 RBI. He’s a track and field participant as well as football. He registered 20 tackles and caught five passes for Audubon’s state runner-up football team.
