(Greenfield) The Adair County Board of Supervisors approved wage increases at Wednesday’s meeting.
Adair County Auditor Mandy Berg says raises are based on the cost of living increase and compensation board recommendations.
“The board voted to give all elected officials a 3-percent salary increase,” said Berg. “The board also agreed on a wage adjustment for one of the part-time recorder clerks from $13.88, to $15.00 per hour, and approved a 3-percent wage increase for all hourly and part-time employees.”
The Compensation Board had previously recommended a $2,500 wage adjustment for the Auditor, Treasurer, and Recorder, plus four-percent. In addition to that, the Comp. Board recommended a $5,000 adjustment for the Sheriff and Attorney plus 4-percent.
Meanwhile, Berg is working on finalizing the budget. The supervisors are expected to set dates for Public Hearings next week.
