(Creston) Two people were injured in separate accidents in Union County.
The first accident occurred January 21st on 205th Street. The Union County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Jesse Vicker, of Creston, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet K2500 pickup eastbound when she lost control on an icy patch, causing the vehicle to go left. Vicker was unable to control the vehicle due to the slick road and entered the north ditch where the pickup rolled and came to rest on its wheels. Vicker was transported to the Greater Regional Medical Center by private vehicle.
The second accident occurred January 28th on Highway 25. 22-year-old Madison Selvy, of Creston, was driving a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee northbound when she went off the edge of the road. Selvy tried to bring the Jeep back on the pavement and then lost control and went into the east ditch where the Jeep rolled and landed on its top. Selvy was transported to the Greater Regional Medical Center by ambulance.
