(Harlan) The Harlan School Board approved the contract at Monday’s meeting for Ellen Walsh-Rosmann, as the Director of Wellness, Food, and Nutritional Services.
Harlan Schools Superintendent Lynn Johnson says Ellen has a wide range of experience in food services and management, contacts with the State Department and other entities that influence the nutrition and wellness field. “Ellen will be very valuable to Harlan Community Schools,” said Johnson.
Johnson says Jenna Schaben who previously filled the Director role has stayed on to help with the extended transition.
In other business, Johnson says the board received a positive audit report and complimented the school’s Business Manager Brian Gubbels for doing a “great job”.
