(State Center) One person died, and another person suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Marshall County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened Friday around 4:07 p.m. at Eastman Avenue and 190th Street. Authorities say 41-year-old Lindsey Richelle Daleske, of McCallsburg, Iowa, died in the crash. The injured person is identified as a 15-year-old juvenile.
According to the report, a 15-year-old juvenile was driving a southbound 2013 Kia Sorento on Eastman Avenue, attempted to pass other vehicles in a no-passing zone, and collided head-on with a northbound 2018 Kia Optima driven by Daleske.
Daleske was pronounced deceased at an area hospital. The 15-year-old juvenile driver was taken to an area hospital with injuries described as life-threatening.
