(Audubon, IA) — Audubon Volleyball Head Coach Molly Lange says that after a rocky start to the season, they have played better volleyball as of late. The Wheelers are 8-17 overall and 2-5 in the Rolling Valley — they beat Ar-We-Va in three straight sets last Thursday. Offensively, Riley Miller and Lucy Stanerson has really improved in their hitting — Miller right leads in kills with 188 kills
Audubon has been using two 8th graders in their starting line-up: Carly Ellingson leads the team with 36 Aces plus has 45 Kills and 106 Digs and Ramona Miller has 61 Kills
Stanerson has 81 Kills plus leads the team in blocks with 24 and Maddie Derry is the setter and also 10 blocks. Lange says they are an unlikely duo at the net
Audubon will host Paton Churdan on Tuesday and visit Coon Rapids Bayard Thursday.
