(Anita, IA) — CAM Volleyball has only three matches so far this season but the action picks up starting tonight as the Cougars visit Southwest Valley.
CAM is 2-1 and swept Boyer Valley in their conference opener last Thursday. Senior Ruthie Rich leads the Cougars with 24 kills, Senior Ada Hansen has 19 kills, and Junior Keely Kinney has 17 kills. Senior Setter Courtney Follmann is still recovering from a softball injury so her younger sister Freshman Taylor Follmann has moved into the roll and has done well with 54 assists says Head Coach Hilary Zimmerline
Kinney has been contributing in other places besides the kills — she is 2nd on the team in digs with 21; leads in serve percentage at 95.6 and is 2nd in aces with five. Zimmerline says she is playing a new position and its working
Tonight is a trip to play the Timberwolves then tomorrow, CAM visits Exira EHK and on Thursday they visit IKM Manning.
CAM will return home on Tuesday, September 22 against Audubon, coverage of that match on KSOM.
