(Red Oak) Two Page County, Iowa, teenagers face theft charges for allegedly stealing road construction signs.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a possible theft at 220th Street and L. Avenue. The investigation led to the arrest of 18-year-old Conner Vanhoose of Clarinda, Iowa, on Saturday in the 100 block of W. Coolbaugh Street in Red Oak on a charge of 3rd-degree theft. Authorities transported Vanhoose to the Montgomery County Jail and held him on a $2,000 bond.
Additionally, a 17-year-old Juvenile was taken into custody in connection with the same incident on charges of 5th-degree criminal mischief. The juvenile was summoned into court and turned over to a guardian.
