Council Bluffs Police Investigate Fatal Motorcycle-SUV Crash

(Council Bluffs, Iowa) — A motorcycle rider was killed in a crash with an SUV Saturday night in Council Bluffs.

Council Bluffs police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Fifth Avenue at approximately 9:30 p.m. on September 5 for a report of a motorcycle versus SUV accident.

The motorcycle driver was transported to the University of Nebraska Medical Center by the Council Bluffs Fire Department, where he was pronounced deceased.

The Council Bluffs Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating the crash.

The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of family members.
