(Des Moines) U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley’s (R-Iowa) staff will hold traveling office hours in 48 counties from Monday, September 14, to Thursday, September 24. Iowans seeking assistance with a federal agency or wishing to share their views may stop by during the scheduled hours listed below.
NOTE: Senator Grassley will not be in attendance. He will be represented by his Deputy State Director Penny Vacek and Regional Directors, Rochelle Fuller, Jonathan Bladt, Noah Schrad, Jacob Bossman and Clayton Brown.
“As I always say, dialogue is the essence of representative government. I make an effort to meet with as many Iowans as I can face-to-face each year to hear what’s on their minds. While I can’t meet personally with all three million Iowans, my staff holds traveling office hours as an additional way to ensure Iowans’ voices are heard and their issues are addressed,” Grassley said. “I encourage Iowans needing assistance to stop by during these upcoming traveling office hours to meet with my staff, or contact me anytime at grassley.senate.gov.”
Last month Grassley completed his annual 99 county meetings for the 46th year in a row, and will continue to hold question-and-answer sessions with Iowans throughout the remainder of the year.
