(Atlantic) The Atlantic Volleyball team is hosting the coaches’ clinic on Saturday and will officially open up the season at the AHSTW Tournament on August 29.
The Trojans return sophomore Reese Harlan, who led the team in hitting one year ago with 279 kills. Senior Jillian Saathoff is back on the front line after delivering 137 kills, along with seniors Peyton McLaren, Brynn Lamp, Alivia Knuth, and junior Emerie Jones, and sophomore Madison McLaren.
Head Coach Alyssa Boltz credits seniors Saathoff, McLaren, Knuth, and Lamp for their leadership during preseason practice.
Boltz recognized Junior Emerie Jones and sophomore Madison McLaren for their work ethic and leadership as well.
Coach Boltz says they are working not only on the fundamentals but also on the mental side of the game.
The Trojans will face Riverside, East Mills, Earlham, MVAOCOU, and AHSTW in a tournament at AHSTW on August 29, and host Griswold and CAM on September 1.
