(Ames, IA) — It looks like the annual Iowa-Iowa State football game will be played into the next decade. ISU says there’s a verbal agreement in place with the University of Iowa to play the annual Cy-Hawk game through the 2031 season. Iowa State says the 2028 and 2030 games will be played in Ames, while the 2029 and 2031 contests will be played in Iowa City. This season’s Cy-Hawk game will be played September 12th in Iowa City.
