(Des Moines) The Iowa Girls’ Coaches Association released its All-District teams on Wednesday. Atlantic Head Coach Terry Hinzman was named Class 3A West District Coach of the Year for leading the Trojans to a 20-0 Hawkeye Ten Conference Championship, and 33-7 overall record including a Regional Final appearance. Kyle Fichter of Fremont-Mills was named the Class 1A Southwest District Coach of the Year, leading his team to a district final, and Jamie Evans of Logan-Magnolia was named the Class 2A Southwest District Coach of the Year for leading the Panthers to the State Tournament.
