(Atlantic) The Nishna Valley Family YMCA is inviting families, friends, and community members to gather for an evening of faith, fellowship, and summer fun at Praise by the Pool: “S’more Jesus” on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at Sunnyside Pool in Atlantic.
The event is part of the YMCA’s Faith & Family Series and will coincide with Campfire Across America 175, a nationwide celebration commemorating the YMCA’s 175 years of strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
As YMCAs across the country gather around synchronized campfires, the Nishna Valley Family YMCA will bring the community together for a memorable evening featuring Christian music, swimming, games, campfire treats, and opportunities to connect with neighbors and friends.
“This event is about celebrating faith, family, and the incredible impact the YMCA has had on communities for 175 years,” said Dan Haynes, Executive Director of the Nishna Valley Family YMCA. “We hope families will join us for an evening of fun and meaningful connection while reflecting on the values that continue to unite us.”
Admission is $5 per person or $15 per family, making the event an affordable opportunity for families to celebrate together. Food will be available for purchase from the Teeny Weeny Weiner Wagon Food Truck, serving from 4:00–8:00 p.m.
