(Marion County) Two people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Marion County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened on Sunday at around 2:10 p.m on Highway 14 and G76. Authorities identified one injured person as 19-year-old Zan A. Pray of New Virginia, Iowa. The ISP did not release the name of the second person injured in the crash.
According to the report, a 2012 Subaru Legacy driven by Zane Pray was traveling eastbound on Highway 14 and failed to yield to a northbound 2012 Ford Econoline. Both vehicles collided at the intersection.
The Subaru came to rest on Highway 14 in the southbound lanes. The Econoline overturned and came to rest in the northbound lane of Highway 14.
Pray was transported by ground ambulance to the Knoxville Hospital. The unidentified person was transported by ground ambulance to Mercy Hospital.
The accident remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol and multiple agencies.
