Atlantic Leads 2026 Hawkeye Ten All-Conference Softball Selections

(Glenwood) Glenwood Athletic Director Jeff Bissen released the Hawkeye Ten All-Conference teams on Tuesday nigth.

According to the press release, Atlantic completed a dominant run through the 2026 Hawkeye Ten Conference softball season, posting a perfect 20-0 conference record to capture the league championship. Lewis Central finished second at 18-2, while Creston placed third with a 13-7 conference mark.

Following the conclusion of the season, Hawkeye Ten Conference coaches selected the 2026 All-Conference Softball Team, recognizing the conference’s top performers with First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mention honors.

Three players were unanimous First Team selections, denoted by (**). Those honorees included Lila Wiederstein of Atlantic, Janessa Woolsey of Clarinda, and Aubree Davis of Lewis Central.

The Hawkeye Ten Conference congratulates all student-athletes recognized for their accomplishments this season. Conference Transition Notes

The conference extends sincere appreciation to Lewis Central, Red Oak, and Shenandoah for their years of membership and contributions to the Hawkeye Ten. As they prepare to join new conferences beginning in the 2026-2027 school year, the league thanks them for their competitive spirit and sportsmanship.

The Hawkeye Ten also looks forward to welcoming Carroll High as a new conference member, marking an exciting new chapter for the league.
