(Atlantic) Lila Wiederstein has been a force on defense and offense for the Atlantic softball team. The senior reached base four times in last Saturday night’s Regional Semi-final win over Unity-Christian. Wiederstein went three-for-three at the plate, scored twice, swiped a base, and drove in a run. For her performance, Wiederstein is the week’s KS95.7 Armour Insurance Trojan Athlete of the Week.
Wiederstein enters tonight’s regional final against Van Meter with a .492 batting average, 49 RBI, eight home runs, five triples, eight doubles, and 39 singles.
