(Red Oak) Red Oak Police Officers arrested a Red Oak woman on Saturday on assault and weapons charges.
Police took 42-year-old Melanie Joy Long into custody at around 3:48 p.m. in the 100 block of W. Coolbaugh Street.
Authorities charged Long with Assault with a deadly weapon, driving while revoked, fraudulent use of registration, and harassment by communication.
Long was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and held on a $2,000 bond.
