(Atlantic) Atlantic and Carroll will try it again on Tuesday evening after last Friday’s game at Atlantic was postponed due to weather.
Atlantic enters the contest having won four out of its last six games, dating back to June 19. The Tigers are coming off a 3-1 win over Gilbert on July 1.
Atlantic Head Coach Nathan Block says the Tigers are the team they scrimmaged in May.
Carroll is batting .262 as a team led by Lincoln Burke, hitting .389 with 18 singles, three doubles, and six RBI. Mason Stitz is hitting .319, and Tallon Crandel is hitting .308.
The Trojans are batting .246 as a team. Kale Jensen leads the squad, hitting .384 with 15 singles, six doubles, seven home runs, and 20 RBI. Sawyer Tarrell is batting .307 with 18 singles, five doubles, and nine RBI. Keston Schmitt enters the contest with a .298 batting average with 14 singles, five doubles, two home runs, and 12 RBI.
The first pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. At Atlantic.
