(Massena) People lined the streets of Massena on Saturday for day 2 of the “Spark the 4th of July Celebration, ” a one-hour parade. The Massena Chamber of Commerce started planning the event over one year ago, and City Councilman and Chamber member Doug Venteicher was pleased with the turnout.
Friday Morning featured many kids’ activities. “Kegs and Eggs” kicked off the activities on Saturday, followed by the Parade at 10 a.m. The highlight of the weekend was former American Idol Contestant Alexis Curren (X O Lex )’s concert and the fireworks on Saturday night.
