(Atlantic) Kale Jensen’s pitching performance, supported by solid hitting, led Atlantic to a 10-0 win over Red Oak in five innings on Wednesday night at Atlantic.
Jensen allowed no runs on no hits, struck out 10 batters, walked one, and hit one batter in the five-inning contest.
The Trojans scored 10 runs on eight hits. Sawyer Tarrell hit a two-RBI double, Zayden Parker went 2-3 with two RBI, Hudson McLaren drilled a double, and Keston Schmitt highlighted the Trojans’ offensive performance with a two-run homer.
The Trojans scored one run in the first inning, six runs in the bottom of the third, two in the fourth, and one more run in the bottom of the fifth.
Atlantic hosts Carroll on Friday night for its regular season finale and faces Harlan in the first round of Substate on July 10.
