(Atlantic) The Atlantic softball team extends its record to 4-0 with a 7-0 win over Glenwood on Thursday night.
Coach Hinzmann says the team’s offensive performance showed significant improvement over the season-opening wins against Denison-Schleswig. Zoey Kirchhoff and Lila Wiederstein both had solid nights at the plate to lead the Trojans. Atlantic Head Coach Terry Hinzmann says Wiederstien’s home run set the tone for the game.
Peyton McLaren and Brynn Lamp combined for a solid effort in the circle for the Trojans.
Hinzmann is impressed with the team’s defensive performance.
