(West Des Moines) The Atlantic girl’s golf team finished 12th out of 16 teams at the Lamson Invitational Golf Tournament at the Willow Creek Golf Course on Monday. The Trojans shot 406.
Makenna Schroeder led Atlantic with a 92 on the par 73 course. Schroeder finished 24th out of the 95 golfers in the field. Madison McLaren finished, 45th, with a 100, Reese Ball, 59th, (106), Hope Hammontree, 61st, (108), Nevaeh Fewson, 62nd, (108), and Mary Leonard finished 85th, with a 125.
Norwalk won the team title with a 337, Southeast Polk finished close behind with a 338.
Anna Wahman, of Southeast Polk medaled with a three over par 73. Lilianna Graham finished runner-up with a 76 in the 95 competitors in the field.
