Former Iowa St. women’s basketball player Jada Williams has found a new home — after a two visit to Baton Rouge, LA she has committed to playing for LSU.
The 5’8″ guard ranked 2nd in the country in assists this past season averaging 7.7 per game. She also was 2nd on Iowa St. in scoring at 15.3 points per game plus added 3.5 rebounds per contest and was named First Team All-Big 12.
Williams only spent one season in Ames — she was a transfer from Arizona. Her points per game has increased each year — from 9.5 as a freshman to 12.7 her sophomore season. She had more assists in her lone season with the Cyclones then the previous two with the Wildcats. She will have one season of eligibility remaining with the Tigers.
Last week, Alisa Williams had announced she was transferring to Indiana. Alisa Williams’ original team was LSU where she played sparingly as a freshman. She transferred to Iowa St. and averaged a career high 4.8 points in 12 minutes a game this past season. She will have one season of eligibility with the Hoosiers.
Audi Crooks, meanwhile, has not made any announcements about her future but according to some media reports, she has become a fan of Notre Dame women’s basketball on Instagram, whatever that means.
