(Coon Rapids, IA) — It was finally a good day to play golf and Coon Rapids Bayard hosted a Rolling Valley meet. Woodbine won the boys tournament with a team score of 159, one stroke ahead of CRB with a 160. CAM finished in a close third with a 167. Boyer Valley was 4th with a 170 followed by Exira EHK with 190 and Glidden Ralston with a 196.
Medalist honors went to Max Shirbround of Coon Rapids Bayard with a 38; winning by tiebreaker over Woodbine’s Carver Pryor also with a 38. Michael Davis of Boyer Valley and Madden Cary of CAM were only one stroke behind with a 39 and tied for third. CAM’s Braxton Dennis was tied for 7th with a 40; Kason Calhoun of CAM tied for 9th with a 41. Low round for Exira EHK went to Austin Rasmussen in a tie for 16th with a 44.
In the girls tournament, there were only three teams that qualified and CRB won with a 209 ahead of CAM with a 217 with Boyer Valley third with a 240.
Medalist honors went to Reese Miller of Boyer Valley shooting a 48; medalist runner up was Kesley Pratt of CAM with a 51.
