(Audubon, IA) — Audubon hosted a boys triangular and girls dual in golf on a rainy Thursday and were able to get their 9 holes in. The Wheeler boys stormed their way to a win in their opener with a 163 ahead of Exira EHK with a 185 and Logan Magnolia third with a 196.
Aiden Kjergaard was the medalist with an impressive 1 over 36 with two birdies on the par 4 5th hole and the par 4 8th hole. Landon Yager playing in the 6th and final position finished in a tie for medalist runner up with teammate Sully McClain with a 42 — Yager won a tiebreaker. Ryan Hermansen had 4th score for the Wheelers with a 43.
Thomas Petersen had the low round for the Spartans with a 44 while Austin Rasmussen shot a 45; Jack Hansen had a 47 and Owen Juhl also broke 50 with a 49.
Low round for Logan Magnolia was Karsyn Kline with a 45. Ethan Hack had a 49.
On the girls side, Lo Ma was the only one with team score — Hunter Bratetic and Whitney Hawkins each shot a 54. Sydney Johnson shot a 58 for Audubon.
