(Harlan) A Walnut man was arrested following a pursuit in Shelby County Wednesday.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office says Phillip Michael Houston, 33, eventually stopped his vehicle and he was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Shelby County Jail where he was held on $4,000 cash or surety bond for Eluding, Driving While Barred – Habitual Offender, Reckless Driving, Speeding, No Insurance, Operating a Non-Registered Vehicle, and Failure to Obey Stop Sign.
The Sheriff’s Office also reports the arrest of Dustin Douglas Williams, 32, of Harlan, on Tuesday. Williams was charged with Driving While Revoked and No Seat Belt. He had an appearance with the magistrate later that evening and was released on his own recognizance.
Penny Jean Swensen-Jacobsen, 58, of Kimballton, was arrested August 7th for Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense. Swensen-Jacobsen was taken to the jail without incident and released the following day after posting the required $1,000 surety bond.
Marc Ryan Holm, 46, of Defiance, was arrested August 3rd after authorities were called to a disturbance at a residence. Holm was charged with Prohibited Acts, Possession of a Controlled Substance Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Holm was released later that evening after posting the $3,300 surety bond.
The Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Harlan Police Department, arrested Blake Edward Cooper, 50, on August 1st on an active outstanding no bond Federal warrant. Cooper was taken to the jail without incident and transferred over to the U.S. Marshalls the following morning. Cooper was out on bond at the time from the Sheriff’s Office after being charged on July 30th for Possession of an Explosive/Incendiary Device. Cooper was released the evening of July 31st after posting $100,000 surety bond.
Tyson Lee Daniel Hines, 20, of Hamlin, was arrested Thursday following a traffic stop and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was transported to the Shelby County Jail where he was later released on his own recognizance.
