(Audubon) The Friendship Home Association in Audubon has earned a five-star rating through Medicare.gov.
The 45-bed skilled nursing center received above-average marks in all major categories used to determine the rating, including health inspections, staffing levels, and quality measures. The designation places the facility among the highest-rated nursing homes in the state.
According to Medicare.gov, the overall star rating system is designed to give consumers a quick snapshot of a nursing home’s performance in areas that matter most. Facilities are rated on a scale of one to five stars, with five stars representing the highest level of quality.
The rating is based on data from three key areas: health inspections, staffing, and quality measures, providing a comprehensive overview to help guide decisions when selecting long-term care.
