(Area) Road conditions are slowly improving following blizzard conditions that occurred Sunday.

The following roads remains closed in Iowa

* I-80 from Altoona to Coralville

*I-80 from I-880 to West Des Moines

*1-35 from Ames to the Minnesota border

Here in southwest Iowa, all highways are now considered partially covered in snow and ice.
