Travel is not advised on US Highway 6 from the intersection of Highway 48 west of Lewis, west through Atlantic to Anita.
From the Iowa DOT: Between IA 48 (7 miles west of the Atlantic area) and US 71 (7 miles east of the Atlantic area). Travel is not advised. The roadway is completely covered with snow. Visibility is reduced. Expect blowing snow.
