Survivors include his children, Joy (Dean) Krohn of Avoca, IA; Daniel (Mary) Jacobsen of Hilton Head, SC; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren + 1 on the way; siblings, Kay Prine of Council Bluffs, IA; Cheroylene (Jay) Holder of Spring Valley, CA; Lon (Diane) Jacobsen of Avoca, IA.

Funeral services for 86 year old Larry Jacobsen of Hancock will be held on Friday, March 13th at 11 AM at the Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca. Family will greet friends on Thursday, March 12th from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Hancock. The Pauley Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
