(Greenfield, IA) — Izzy Eisbach’s career came to end for Nodaway Valley girls basketball and it ended with her being the most prolific scorer in school history — 2,270 points which ranks 10th all time in Iowa 5 on 5 history — plus the school’s career leader in steals and assists and is in the top five in rebounds and blocks. Her Dad and Head Coach Brian Eisbach says her legacy goes beyond the stats
Nodaway Valley also loses Senior Emma Boswell who between Orient Macksburg and the Wolverines has more rebounds in the Iowa 5 on 5 era than anyone
Nodaway loses a total of six seniors — Eisbach, Boswell and Kacie Ford were starters along with Kynnady Van Eaton, Caroline Britten and Lea Stonebraker. The Wolverines will have a dramatically different look next year but return Freshman Abby Nelson (9.4 ppg), Sophomore Ella Boswell (3.7 ppg) and Sophomore Mattison Thompson who was hurt this season. Eisbach says the stable is far from being empty
Nodaway Valley finished 20-3 overall.
