(Avoca, IA) — AHSTW Girls Basketball had a solid improvement in the 2025-26 season — the Lady Vikes improved by five wins and finished 13-10 and third place in the Western Iowa Conference. Head Coach Jason McCall says the girls were able to withstand the highs and lows of the season and understand how to play the game. AHSTW will essentially return all five of their starters — Junior Addison Carroll went from averaging 7.1 points per game to 11.1 and McCall says it was all about putting in the work
The Lady Vikes also return Juniors Bella Lamp (6.9 ppg), Macey Goshorn (4.5 ppg) and Sophomores Clara Pace (7.2 ppg) and Kennedy Wyman (2.8 ppg). McCall is super excited to work with the same bunch of girls
