(Creston) The Creston Police Department investigated a two-vehicle accident on Friday.
According to the Creston Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 10:10 a.m. at the intersection of West Prairie and North Sumner streets. No one suffered injuries in the crash.
Authorities say a 2019 Toyota Camry driven by 68-year-old Christine M. Oclair, of Creston, was stopped eastbound on West Prairie Street. A 2015 Chevrolet Equinox driven by 76-year-old Nancy Lee Mach, of Corning, was traveling north on North Sumner Street and attempting to turn left onto West Prairie Street. While making the turn, Mach reportedly turned too sharply and struck the front driver’s side of the Camry.
Both vehicles sustained minor damage, with total damage estimated at $5,000. No one was cited in the accident.
